Please follow these supervision, safety, behaviour and swim attire rules during your visit. Parents and carers are responsible for actively supervising their children at all times.
Entry and supervision
Children aged 10 years and under must enter with an adult aged 18 years or older. You may be asked for identification on entry.
All children aged 5 years and under must wear a wristband.
Children aged 0–5 years and non-swimmers must have a parent or carer in the water with them and remain within arm’s reach.
For children aged 6–10 years and weak swimmers, stay nearby, watch continuously and be ready to help. Children must remain in the parent or guardian’s clear view.
For children aged 11–14 years, keep watching while they are in the water. For children aged 11 years and over, parents and guardians must also consider swimming ability when deciding the level of supervision required.
Maximum supervision ratios
Children under 5 years: a maximum of 2 children to 1 adult parent or guardian.
Children aged 5–10 years: a maximum of 4 children to 1 adult parent or guardian.
The arm’s reach and wristband requirements still apply to children aged 5 years.
Children may be required to complete a swimming competency assessment.
Lifeguards do not replace parent or carer supervision.
Safety and behaviour
No flips, bombing, running entries into the pool or manu dives.
No smoking or vaping.
No alcohol or glass containers.
No animals.
Disrespectful language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
Disrespect towards staff or other patrons will not be tolerated.
Please ensure all children are aware of and follow these rules.
Swim attire
Allowed
Board shorts and swim trunks.
Swim nappy with a waterproof cover and swimsuit.
Rash shirts and aqua shirts.
Modesty swimwear.
Standard swimsuits and bikinis.
Not allowed
Thong bikinis.
Disposable nappies worn alone.
Jeans, denim shorts or cut-offs.
Lingerie, underwear or boxer shorts.
Basketball or gym shorts.
Please ask our staff if you are unsure about suitable swim attire.
